Instant Bread pizza is one of the most effortless plans to make at home using bread, cheese and veggies for evening nibble. It's the creative adaptation of conventional pizza as it has a comparative look and same garnishes yet has an alternate pizza base.
I've almost tried all kinds of pizza thin crust, pan, cheese crust, multigrain, etc with different kinds of toppings, yes certainly even potato and cheese, it did taste good though :)
Pizza has become so versatile now that we make it on Chapati (Indian flatbread), Dosa, Paratha or any flatbread. We either bake it or bake it in a traditional way on a Tawa(non-sticks/cast iron Tawa).
We tried this instant home-style bread pizza to satisfy our hunger pangs with common things available in the kitchen.
We can add any toppings (veggies including even spinach to make it green healthy), add homemade pizza sauce or even use ketchup,use any flatbread or like mentioned Dosa or leftover chapati :P, use mozzarella cheese or processed cheese or even shredded cabbage if you are dieting :P, bake it in the oven or any other traditional way. Moving on with the recipe, like I mentioned there are multiple ways to get this in your stomach but I chose this which was available in our kitchen and the easiest way.
Instant Bread Pizza Recipe
This recipe serves 2-3.
Ingredients -
4-5 Slices of bread (I used fresh White Bread, you can use any flatbread)
Veggies (You can add toppings of your Choice)
Sliced Capsicum
Sliced Onion
Tomatoes
Boiled Sweet Corn
Butter (toasting)
Mixed Herbs
Chili Flakes
Tomato Ketchup
Ready-made Pizza Sauce
Processed Cheese or Mozzarella Cheese
Mayo(Optional)
Chili Sauce (Optional)
Pizza Sauce
2-3 Blanched Tomatoes
Chili Flakes
1/2 Tsp Sugar
Mixed Herbs
Crushed Black Pepper
2-3 Garlic (Optional)
Salt
Instant Pizza Sauce
3-4 Tbsp Tomato Ketchup
2 Tsp of Chili sauce or 1/2 tsp Chili Flakes
1/4 Crushed Black Pepper
1/2 Tsp Mixed Herbs
Method -
Pizza Sauce -
1. Blend 2-3 Blanched Tomatoes into puree and heat the puree in a pan (you can add garlic in start with 1/2 tsp of oil), add chili sauce or chili flakes according to your taste buds.
2. Add a dash of water to the mixture, let it boil for 3-5 mins, now add crushed black pepper, salt to taste and finally add mixed herbs.
3.Turn down the heat and add a pinch of sugar to cut down the sourness of the tomatoes and adjust the consistency
4.Let the sauce cool down, you can store this in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
Instant Pizza Sauce -
Take a bowl, add tomato ketchup, add all the ingredients and mix them well. Tada your instant pizza sauce is ready !
Bread Pizza Recipe -
1. Firstly take the slices of bread, spread 1 tsp of Pizza Sauce(you can use any sauce- Instant or ready-made, here i have used ready-made pizza sauce). Here you can add Mayo if needed or add shredded cheese for extra cheesiness.
2. Top the bread with sliced veggies of your choice.
3. Add a generous amount of desired cheese and sprinkle mixed herbs and chili flakes
4. Place the bread on the heated butter brushed tawa for 2-3 mins until the cheese melts.
5. Finally enjoy your instant bread pizza !
Let's Remember this -
Use any toppings for your pizza, spinach, broccoli to make it healthier
Use any base as pizza base to make it nutritious.
Heat the pizza on a low flame to prevent burning.
You can also bake/heat it in a preheated oven at 180 Degrees for 5-6 mins until the cheese melts.
Pizza tastes better when served hot.
